Mit Shah is the founder and chief executive officer of Noble Investment Group, an Atlanta-based real estate investment firm focused on the travel and hospitality sector. He provides overall strategic direction for the organization and chairs the firm’s investment activities.
Raised in Winston-Salem by parents who emigrated from rural India as college students, Mit found formative support at Wake Forest University as a freshman in 1987, where coaches and educators reinforced a simple message — “We believe in you.” A member of the men’s tennis team who also worked at the Graylyn Conference Center, Mit discovered a lasting passion for hospitality and entrepreneurship.
Mit is a part-owner of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and has been recognized by Newsweek among influential South Asian leaders and by Atlanta Magazine as one of the city’s prominent business voices. He serves as co-chairman of the Industry Real Estate and Finance Advisory Council and on the executive committee of the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Previously, he served as chairman of the board for NYSE public companies CorePoint Lodging and La Quinta Holdings, guiding both through successful transactions for shareholders. He has served as a Trustee of Wake Forest University since 2005.
