As Wake Forest seeks its next president, the University will draw on the defining strengths of its community – our commitment to excellence, the value we place on relationships and conversation, our dedication to mission and purpose, and our enthusiasm for the future – to guide the selection of our next leader.

The Presidential Search Committee, co-chaired by Jeanne Whitman Bobbitt, chair of the Board of Trustees, and Curt Farmer, vice chair of the Board of Trustees, will lead the search for Wake Forest’s 15th president. The committee will assess and review applications, interview candidates, check references and engage with members of the Wake Forest community to understand their hopes for the University’s next leader. Ultimately, the committee will recommend the individual best prepared to lead Wake Forest into its next chapter.

The Presidential Search Committee includes Trustees, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and a student.
